Do I have to know anything about building a website to sell on the internet?
No you do not. You do need to know how to set up email accounts on an email client such as Outlook Express. If you don't want to use Outlook, webmail which is similar to Yahoo mail is also available. If you ever come across something you don't understand you can either call us or send us an email. We will help you every step of the way.
How long is all of this going to take?
We can get started as soon as we setup your account and get your product information (catalogs, digital files, etc). The domain name normally takes 3 days to get processed so we can't start before then. From all indications and prior work experience we could probably have your site ready within 30 to 90 days depending on the package you purchase.
Who decides the look of my website?
We will build some templates for you to look over, the final decision is yours. Later we plan to have templates displayed at this website so that our customers can select one when they purchase.
As mentioned before we will need information about you, your business and your products and pricing. As far as your products go, we will need either a paper catalog or digital images. Digital images make the entire process go much faster, however if you don't have access to digital images we can work from a catalog for an additional fee. We will also need information to use when we build an "About Us" page. (If you purchase sufficient pages) In our opinion "About Us" pages are some of the most important pages to have on any website. Here we would explain what you do, have some pictures of your operation and if you want, some pictures of the owner and/or employees. It gives the website a sense of humans running the show. Please remember, we will work with you and build you something that will provide additional income for many years to come.
On the home page we will need basic information that describes what you sell. These days we have to be careful and not spam the search engines with repeated keywords. So we will setup that page to be search engine friendly and increase the chances of the website getting listed. Also simplicity is the name of the game.
The simpler the page the better your listings and the easier your customers can find what they are looking for

Will I be able to submit a paper catalog or do you only except digital images and text.
Yes you can, however since scanning a paper catalog is very time consuming we charge extra for this service. There is no extra charge if you submit digital images and electronic text. All digital images must be gif or jpg format (PC Platform). Digital images can be acquired by using a digital camera and taking pictures of your products and sending them to us, or if your supplier has a website that displays images and descriptions of products you are going to sell, we can use those images and descriptions (You must have permission from them before we can do this) If you take pictures of your products you must also submit (electronic) pre-typed text. You can do this by sending the descriptions in an email or a word document.
What about maintaining the website, how much is that going to cost me?
We charge $5.00 dollars for every instance where we go in and delete or edit minimal text or images per each page. This includes minor work. For instances where the editing will take some time to complete, we will send you an estimate. Our prices are always very reasonable.
